Spirit of the Gulf Chorus is extremely fortunate to have Karen Breidert as Director. She has been with the Sweet Adelines International Organization for 30 years, receiving many top awards and accomplishments.
She is at the highest level of the Sweet Adelines International Director Certification program and a member of the International Faculty traveling around the country and overseas, coaching and teaching.
Karen served as International President from 1998 to 1999. She has won International medals directing Sweet Adelines International choruses.
In 1985 her quartet, Jubilation won a gold medal, and she most recently took home the crown and the championship with her new quartet, the BUZZ! Her love of music and each chorus member really shows and it is a joy to sing for a director with her enthusiastic abilities, organization and teaching skills.
