The initial meeting of "Guys with Spirit" was held on April 17, 2002, and was attended by 11 "significant others".  We hope that all who are interested will join us in providing moral and logistical support to our favorite chorus, Spirit of the Gulf.  The idea is for all of us, singers and supporters, to share in the excitement and fun of this great singing group. Our contributions might be anything from organized rooting and "hoopla" at contests, to moving tables and chairs at cabarets - whatever it takes to help Spirit achieve their goals. The hope is that by creating such a support group, we can enhance the family atmosphere fostered by the chorus, and let them know how much we appreciate and encourage their hard work and accomplishments.
