SPIRIT INFORMATION CENTER |
Purpose: The Spirit Information Center (IC) was established to centralize the availability of information, handouts, displays, sales items, and ticket sales at Spirit of the Gulf rehearsals.
Procedure for displaying or using the IC:
1, Chorus member notifies IC team leader or team member of need for table space and describes use for that space. It is preferred that this notification be done before the evening of rehearsal to ensure that table space can be set up.
2. Team member reviews with chorus member how, when, etc. to set up and remove her items.
3. About 30 minutes prior to rehearsal, team will set up table or other area space needed. Any signs required are the responsibility of the member using the space.
4. Chorus member brings items to IC and displays. If ticket sales are done, chairs will be provided for the chorus members selling the tickets. If staffing for the sign-up sheets or tickets sales is needed, the chorus member responsible for the activity will get this staffing.
5. After rehearsal:
10 minutes after rehearsal is over, displays must be removed by the chorus member responsible. Physical items displayed for sale, etc. must be removed. Storage space in the closet is limited.
Sign-up sheets, tickets, etc. are the responsibility of the members in charge-NOT the responsibility of the IC Team. Please remove each week for safekeeping.
6. Re-displaying the following week(s). The chorus members displaying items are responsible to arrive at rehearsal ahead of starting time to re-display sign-up sheets.
We are not utilizing our mail boxes…If you have hand-outs, traveling instructions, costume changes or any flyer type information, they MUST go into our members mail boxes. Yes, our members are missing out on important info by not having our mailboxes used!!!
