Spirit of the Gulf is an award-winning women's a cappella chorus of over 150 members, dedicated to musical excellence, education and the promotion of harmony singing throughout Florida.
In December we said fond farewells to our Director, Karen Breidert. In January 2013 we welcome Michael Slamka as our new Director.
The chorus has excelled in regional and international competitions, with honors including Florida champions, top ten medalists at International five times, voted Most Entertaining Chorus for the third time in 2012, and in Denver we were proud to return with 6th place International medals.
